Clearfield Municipal Water is a dedicated water utility company serving the residents of Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township since 1882. Initially established as the Clearfield Water Company, our organization has transformed through various phases of growth and service enhancement over more than a century. In 1945, we were officially incorporated as the Municipal Authority of Clearfield Borough under Pennsylvania law, allowing us to better address the communitys water and sewer needs. Today, Clearfield Municipal Water serves approximately 5,500 customers through two main divisions: Water and Sewer. Our Water Division operates with advanced filtration systems sourced from two reservoirs and four wells, maintaining over 400,000 linear feet of water mains to ensure reliable water delivery. The Sewer Division manages a modern sewage treatment plant along with five lift stations and 170,000 linear feet of sewer interceptor lines. Our operations are overseen by an experienced seven
